Yeah, moving the goalposts. And have been this entire time, since now you're using criteria other than statistical accolades (I didn't know NBA writers choice was an award, wow).
But since you're juicing stats to add to Jordans...
- Russell didn't win Rookie of the Year, because he was playing for the US in the Olympics (and winning his gold medal), so we'll count that for him too.
- Same for why he didn't go 13/13 on All Star selections. He missed his rookie year because he was playing for the US in the Olympics and only played in 48 games. So well say the same for Russell.
- I already mentioned the Hall of Fame for both, and Russell is a 2x HoF. Jordan ain't getting in again for being an owner, that's for sure.
- Cant use fastest to 32K point because you discount that same argument for LeBron getting to 40k. Gotta be consistent.
-Russell also has an all star game MVP. I personally don't think an all-star game counts for much of anything, but hey this is your shitty argument...
-Averaged 22.5 rebounds per game
-Averaged 24.5 rebounds per game in the playoffs.
So you discount 5 more championships because Jordan simply scored more and some dork writers agree he's #1. And then you claim it's "not even close." Except it is by every statistical definition and category. Like I said earlier.
So, find a problem with that instead of admitting that your original premise was flawed and incomplete, and era needs to be factored in as well :)
