God damn that might be my fave fight in the history of ufc. From the walk outs literally giving me goosebumps, to the action in the ring, and to the way it ended even with Max rushing out to hug his wife then rushing back into the ring showing KZ love and helping him up to the stool damn this fight was just.. wow.

Exactly, and to see it after that amazing fight...pretty much every die-hard MMA fan wanted it.
It was also a nice change of pace from the Affliction style MMA shirts at the time.

I was no good when Cranberries Zombie came on with KZ was on his knees with his head on the floor. The tears, the respect from the fans. Very hard to see. One of my favourite modern day fighters ever. He will be missed. I always wondered just how good he could’ve been if he never had a 4 year hiatus. #legend

After looking back at it, I was a little disappointed in KZs approach before he got ktfo. He came in with reckless abandonment. Max is not the guy you do not that with. Exciting but reckless. It was a bad ko too. Not good to end your career with.

Zombie wasn't winning unless he outgunned Max in a firefight. It was his best chance at catching Max

Some of these guys don't even get an interview, you see them put the gloves down an they go to commercial or something.
I can't remember who it was recently but nobody gave a f--- it was kinda bad.
Obviously Zombie was a special fighter but still, they all deserve the respect when it's time to move on.

Zombie acted stupid. You do not want to go forward like that against Max. He us too good with counters. I was just waiting for that counter and it happened. All fight long looked like that.
