At the beginning of UFC tonight, Ariel Helwani said he would be telling us which UFC fighter will be retiring during the July 4th weekend. UFC tonight just ended and they mentioned nothing about it. Anyone have any news on it?

The only thing I can think of is that he was referring to Cormier's final amateur wrestling bout, which will take place at the Fan Expo.

Mir really should retire. He's still dangerous on the mats, but he really can't contend with the top 5 guys anymore. Was tooled by Overeem for 15 minutes (shockingly, he wasn't KO'd by that knee). Time caught up to him I think.
Big Nog should also really consider retirement too. Another guy that just has too many injury issues now, and also, time caught up.

How bad would the HW division suck without them though?
It's shallow enough as is. It'd be a horrible division without washed up veterans.

Yea, but at some point, they need to step away.
Besides, the division still has Overeem to be JDS's punching bag (I keed, I keed)
