Anybody have any ideas or guesses on who's going to drop down from Featherweight to Flyweight or whom the UFC are going to sign??
Personally i would like to see Scott Jorgenson(13-4) drop, IMO i think he could rule the roost in that division. Also i would like to see Darren Uyenoyama(7-3) drop as well, being that he fought mostly @ Flyweight in Shooto Japan & had defeated a lot of big names that still currently fight @ Flyweight. I can see the newest "Ultimate Fighter" Bantamweight winner John Dodson(12-5) also making the drop considering that is the weight class he had fought beforehand.
As for recruiting world rankers i'm sure theres plenty trying to jump on the UFC train, but the biggest that come to mind that the UFC would be foolish not to grab are; Jussier da Silva(12-1), who currently sits @ No.2 ranked Flyweight, whos only loss comes to current No.1 ranking Ian McCall(11-2). He's last fought in Fort MMA & Shooto Japan. That being said neither sign major contractual obligations so he should be an easy one for the UFC to pick up. Still reltively unknown, Rambaa Somdet(9-2). Has only fought once in 2011 but still ranks in the top 10. He mostly fights in DEEP & Shooto Japan, & losses are to current No.5 Flyweight Mitsuhisa Sunabe(15-7-4) & Darren Uyenoyama (1-0 UFC), both dating back to 2002. Dustin Ortiz(8-1) has made a big splash pretty quick & already ranks No.10, his only blemish is a decision loss to Ian McCall, & well who hasnt lol. Being that he is American he should be an easy target to the UFC. Will Campuzano(9-4) has already had his chance @ the "big show"(WEC, UFC) & chokes against top competition. Still, back to his original division, coming off a submission win, & still ranking top 20 @ Flyweight he could be a decent draw for the UFC to try & grab. I really like this guy; Brandon Merkt(11-0). Undefeated & has a great camp with Team Adrenaline, hitting the top 20 in rankings this guys ready for the UFC. Last but not least; Czar Sklavos(6-1). A Jiu-Jitsu black belt quickly rising up the ranks only lossing a decision in his professional debut against "Ultimate Fighter 14" Featherweight finalist TJ Dillshaw(4-1), i think he would be great prospect.

My dream signatures would be:
Alexis Vila.... but fighting at 135lbs in Bellator
Jose Marie Tome
Rambaa Somdet
Kyoji Horiguchi could easily make the cut to 125
Mamoru Yamaguchi
Darrell Montague
Brandon Merkt
Yuki Shojo
Roy Docyogen
Alexandre Pantoja Passidomo
Dileno Lopes
Haruo Ochi
Kiyotaka Shimizu
John Dodson should make the drop back down
Fumihiro Kitahara
Dustin Ortiz
Shinichi Kojima
Ulysses Gomez but fights at 135 now.

Did a similar thread to this a while ago:
http://forums.mmajunkie.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43877
Lots of interesting suggestions for siginings in there.
In terms of guys dropping down from BW, obviously Johnson and Benavidez already are and I'd be VERY surprised if Dodson, Gaudinot and Josh Ferguson didn't follow suit, since that was their weight before TUF. Other guys who could possibly make the cut:
Yamamoto
Uyenoyama
Cariaso
Banuelos (if the UFC will re-sign him)
Vaughan Lee and Jorgensen are also small guys but very stocky. I think they could probably make the cut, might be a bit tough though.

Whilst we're on the topic of FLW, just wondering how the UFC will determine the first challenger for the tourney winner? I'm guessing Dodson will get a #1 contender match-up against someone, but who? Lineker? A BW dropping down? Or a new sigining?

Jorgensen has said countless times he can't make 125.
Anyway... from the other thread (added Tomé and removed Urushitani/McCall)

There's our answer on that one then.
What do you reckon to Vaughan Lee and Brad Pickett dropping down residency? Would you like to see them at 125? Do you think they could make the cut?

I haven't given that one much thought to be honest. If they feel they can make it, then sure. I'm not really against the idea. I think Pickett still has a lot to offer at 135, though.

Hey Warborn, I was just wondering if you were a local guy out of Boise. I was searching MMA rankings and found your opinion on this forum. Just interesting to know someone has noticed Czar Sklavos as a up and comer...
