UFC in 3d?

Man that would be the total fighting experience of a lifetime. I wouldn't be too shocked if its already in the works, I heard UFC events were coming to movie theaters so lets hope they do try 3D.
I could only imagine how intense it would look to see Cro-Cop throw a high kick or Rampage do one of those crazy power bombs he used to do in pride.
Not a fan of this idea. This 3D thing is getting way overused. I'm flashing back to the 80s. Plus when done well, it makes people rave about mediocre movies (Avatar), and when done poorly it turned what would have been a mediocre movie into a hunk of crap (Clash of the Titans).

Finally someone says it......Avatar was an OK movie.....I didn't pay any money to see it and was glad i didn't....actually just saw it about a week ago when my Mom bought the movie so I stole it from her.
I loved the trailer for Clash of the Titans....."Available in 3d.....also in 2d".....might as well said "available in 3d....also like every other movie made"

Didn't even watch the movie. And have very little desire to do so still.

Avatar was a legit movie, doesnt matter if its 2d or 3d it was still a great movie. I agree about Clash of the Titans, biggest flop since that Will Ferrel movie where he goes back in time to the land of Dinosaurs.
i was watching a k-1 event on hdnet and The Voice said that they were already filming that event with special 3D cameras so we can at least look forward to that.
i just bought a NON 3d tv late last year but i'm willing to get one if it lives up to the hype. and doesnt mess up my vision. and then theres the hidden cost of having a 3d tv which includes buying the 3d glasses that, from what i'm reading, are not included with the tv and could cost up to $50 a pair and of course the batteries. so if you have a big family or a big group of friends that all wanna watch in 3d it could get pricey.

It was so NOT a legit movie. Try watching Dances With Wolves and tell me that isn't the exact same story with the exact same plot.
I think it would be interesting in a theatre. I'm not going to buy a 3D TV for a few years if it happens at all, just got a 46" Sharp Aquos last year.
I thought Avatar in 3d had pretty wicked visuals. Story was a kinda cheesy. But the effects in 3D were awesome, especially the flying scenes and end battle.
