I'm questioning the standing of the LHW Division right now. Evans is clearly the #1 contender, but after that it's pretty hazy in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Coture if he beats Toney will more than likely get the next shot.....and after that probably lil Nog if he can keep winning. Not saying I agree with those comments but that is more than likely what will happen.

You know what's funny, I said this a while back about Couture. But look at all that has happened that further opens the door for him.
Evans: #1 Contender.
Jackson: Just lost to Evans.
Griffin: Pulled out of his fight with Nogueira. This in my opinion would have determined the next guy in line.
Machida: Hasn't fought since losing the title yet.
Nogueira: Questionable victory against a low ranking fighter.
Then there is Randy..... :|

I only say Nog because he is a fresh face in the UFC......kind of like the Vitor treatment....if he had fought Griffin like you said that would have determined it.

Not even close yet.....I think either the UFC or Jone's managers are slowly building him up so he can be a huge star later. Not saying he can't compete but he won't happen yet.

No I agree. It will likely be Couture then Nogueira if he wins his next fight. Assuming Forrest doesn't get another dominating win sometime soon.

Never really noticed how much the fight outcomes of UFC 114 favored Coutures chances at getting a title shot. What if Couture loses to Toney? Bones and Bader arent there yet... Winner of Chuck vs Franklin? haha...
