I bought the premier issue of UFC Magazine today, and I must say that it is a very good read. There are a lot of interesting facts and stats throughout, great interviews and articles. It's very well put together. I ended up reading it cover to cover in one sitting, which isnt something I usually do with a new magazine.I personally liked the UFC 100 coverage they provided. They interviewed each of the 6 headline fighters on what they thought of the upcoming fight. It did a great job of further hyping each fight. Needless to say I was greatly impressed with this magazine, and I hope they continue to publish new issues. I would greatly recommend picking this up if you haven't already.
Any other Junkies that have picked this up, please discuss your opinions....
Is it out already? I wanted to get it, should make my way to Borders tomorrow. Haha, knowing Dana he probably put himself on the cover over the fighters in UFC 100 or a current UFC champ. (Just joking, I don't think even Dana would pull that)

Are you being sarcastic? Because if you're not, then that's damn funny because I have it in front of me, and in the upper left hand corner, there is a tiny picture of Lesnar, a tiny picture of Rampage, and a tiny picture of two guys fighting, but the main cover is nothing but a big picture of Dana...throwing a punch, no less.

Haha. I was kinda curious as to why Dana was on the cover after reading the magazine.... Theres nothing in it about him at all, except the letter written to the readers from Dana.
I'm not sure if it's in the UK or not.
I want to get it. Is it a one off magazine or will they be rolling them out monthly/quaterly? If it is not sold in the UK would any Junkie out there be willing to ship a new copy to me and i'll paypal them the cost & p&p?

I think it's gonna be a quarterly thing. There's a survey you can take online about the mag and it asks if you would subscribe or buy another issue....
I just skimmed through the new UFC magazine & i thought it sucked. It didn't really look like a mma magazine. It looked like a GQ or something. Jon Jones & Alan Belcher modeling suits & stuff. I just didn't like it much at all. Reminds me of back in the day when MC Hammer was a huge star but his career went to crap when he ended up on lunchboxes & had a cartoon. UFC has dolls now & a ghey magazine.

Because, before that, Hammer was the king of musical integrity who would have never sold out. MC Hammer's music is equivalent in MMA of having Hong Man Choi fighting three midgets dressed as hobbits.
Anyone pick up/see that new UFC mag?
There is a section in it where they hype the three main events. Its pretty funny, they have the competitors in photo shoots decked out in fancy clothes, yet in each pic its like they are trying to start s--- with each other. GSP/Alves out by the pool, being held back by chicks. Lesnar and Mir about to get into it at the roulette table, while decked out in pimp suits. But the best is Bisping walking up to the casino and Henderson about to check him. They tried to pimp Hendo out, but it just doesnt look right. Freakin Hilarious!!! :lol:

In his video blog, he explains that the shoot they did with GSP, Rampage, Rashad and others was "the worst thing you've ever seen in your life". The picture on the cover was a picture from a playboy shoot last year, apparently.
