Nah this card is better but not by much, it seems almost every card lately has been full of absolute nobodies.

Agreed. I used to love when ufc would pump out good quality cards often. These cards lately are horrid. I dont recognize half the the fighters anymore.

I dont understand judging a card based off reading names alone.. they could be exciting competitive fights.
Granted, last nights card literally put me to sleep ... but the same complaint was said about the last couple cards before that and they were pretty good.

Guess I'm just a filthy casual now, I know 3 names on the card. Use to know the whole main card and the prelims were used to build up fighters, but it has become harder to keep up with fighters since the ESPN + deal

Man I wish I could be one of those guys, who could just miss a card if it had no name value. It'd make waking up for work on Sunday so much easier. Most weeks I go to sleep at 6 to wake up at half 8. You guys don't understand the pain

You're completely right. I relooked at the card and I recognize all the names save for Culibao. I guess for me, it's about more watered down cards and I know it's to be expected considering the roster of fighters and continually growing overseas. Some of these weaker cards on paper end up being amazing as well. Stylistically, I just havent been as excited lately. Maybe I regressed as a fan or it is a span of events I'm just not as excited about. Maybe both. That said, there are a good 5 fights I'm interested in which is pretty good.

I was like that with pride! So I can somewhat relate, but at the rate that ufc puts events on you're fandom is on a diff level. I cannot imagine consistantly staying up till 6am for fights. That's pretty awesome.
