Why does the UFC introduce fighters with a different record than that on Fight Finder (Yes, I use fight finder) or wikipedia (yes, I use wikipedia)?
I know that Rashad was introduced as 18-0, when both sources said he was 13-0.
What really baffles me is that I saw some old rich franklin fights.
In one of them, they introduced him as undefeated. However, in another (and this is before his losses to silva) they introduced him as 17-1.
Where do they get their sources?

Rich Franklin fought in the UFC, lost to Machida, and came back to the UFC. That explains that.
The rest? I don't know. Just look at the UFC's website. They f--- up on records all the time.

I honestly think it's just a difference in what they consider a "professional"fight.
A fighter can fight in a new, unrecognized org or a one off event and put a "win" on their record, but sherdog and wiki might never find any proof that it ever took place.
