I like both fighters . Usman may not want to get into a striking affair and take it to the fence or the mat . Thompson hasn't fought in a year since he had a tough scrap with Luque so his hands have healed as well as they can.
Thompson is never in a boring fight and Usman could use a more exciting fight than his last one .
Thompson would be a high risk fight for Usman but a worthy scalp if he prevails .

Usman is too strong in the wrestling department. As slick and well balanced as Wonderboy is, he won't be able to peel the much more explosive Usman off him for 5 rounds. Usman is basically Woodley 2.0 with crisper 1 2 combinations and fresher gas tank being that he's younger and WB couldn't get it done twice against Woodley.
Boring UD for Usman.

I think Thompson has a good chance of beating Usman by TKO .
