Vitor and Wandy have been taking a lot of shots at eachother. Wandy has said that Vitor is scared of a "big black guy" that he's going to get knocked out, etc. Vitor has responded by saying that Wandy's just trying to get attention, that he has a "big mouth" etc. These dudes don't like eachother. Or maybe Wandy is still bitter that he was beaten by Vitor at UFC 17.5 "Ultimate Brazil." I don't know, but it's obvious they don't like eachother. If Vitor loses to Silva, I can see this fight happening. Wandy has said that upon his return he wants to face Vitor if possible. I think that Vitor is younger and in better shape right now, and he could end Wandy's night with a straight right...but you can never count Wandy out. I could see Wandy rushing in for the clinch and delivering some of his classic knees and then turning it into a brawl up against the cage like he did with Bisping. Just the fact that these two don't like eachother makes me like this fight.

I dunno, haven't seen Silva use his knees in a while. I'd never trust his chin against a guy like Vitor -- against a powerless puncher like Bisping, hell yeah, but Vitor would probably put Wanderlei to sleep just as fast as the first time.

i think it would look exactly like the first fight imo wandys chin has gotten even worse and vtor hits like a truck still so as much as i hate it wandy goes to sleep
Wandy has slowed down significantly since his first fight with Belfort and Pride. Belfort has only gotten *surprisingly faster compared to where he was before.

I know it was nearly 4 1/2 years ago, but I was there - in the building - when Vitor "fought" Alistair Overeem. It was such a dreadful effort by Vitor that the judges' scores were not even announced.
I'll never get that night out of my head when it comes to Vitor, no matter how hard I may try.

Vitor is all hype atm. there is nothing new and changed about him. We havnt seen his cardio which has been his biggest downfall so I think AS beats him very easily in the 2nd round. As for Wandy vs VItor well Wandy is asking to get knocked out again. If it was Wandy in his prime it would be different.
