UFC middleweight Wanderlei Silva recently spoke to Setanta Sports and revealed that he and UFC President Dana White have had discussions about Silva possibly being a coach on an upcoming season of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality series.
Silva currently owns a 1-2 record in his return to the UFC's Octagon, but there's no doubt that he has already become one of the UFC's most popular fighters.
"I’ve spoken to Dana and he’s spoken to me about future opportunities for working as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter," Silva told Setanta Sports.

Is this a breakthrough on a possible move to MW?

Yeah Wand said last month he was planning on jumping between MW and LHW.

Well I hope he has much better luck in the MW division... I look forward to a battle between him and Anderson

That would be killer but hopefully we'll have Marquardt vs Maia at the end instead of Marquardt vs Wand.

I think they give Maia next crack at Anderson and then have Marquardt vs Wand on the show for #1 contender.

Obviously Leites is fighting Spider next, which Spider will win.
I can see Spider going to 205 for his next fight, and his next defence being against Bisping (after he beats Henderson)
please no flaming

I honestly don't think he'd win that one, with the style he has now. Its way too loopy, not to mention he'll have a decent height disadvantage. I'd expect that fight to look a lot (not identical) like the Anderson vs Leben fight.

Thats possible, but I think with the log jam in the MW for contenders I dont know if they will move him up to 205 right now. I think Maia should get next crack before Hendo/Bisping winner, if Anderson leaves 97 unscathed he could fight Maia as early as 101 or 102.

this would be cool but only if he coaches against mark coleman and then they settle thier beef at 205. remember the incident with the 2 at the end of the shogan fight, just imagine the animosity between those 2 nuts in the same room all the time( probablly would be good tv)

Me too, except I'll acknowledge the possibility that Wand could win. I don't mean that as a hit against Leben, just that where they were in their careers at the time (Leben, like Forrest and Bisping, was loving the role of a scrappy brawler who only cared to throw leather).
Anyway, I don't think that Maia gets a title shot just for beating Sonnen. You think it's a coincidence that he fought on the same card as Marquardt/Gouveia? The UFC is setting up a mini tourny. They just did it for the heavyweight belts, and then again in the LW division (Guida beat Danzig, Diaz beat Neer, then Guida fought Diaz and Danzig fought Neer.) Marquardt fights Maia and the winner gets a shot after Bisping
