WAR

This time I want everything to remain calm until end of September cause I could finally schedule 2 vacations which is hard to do when you're always at war and flights are canceled or if that war can continue at any minute
If you want any recommendations, Vienna was amazing, and I walked around with my Star of David necklace with 0 issues.

We did the safe thing and just went all inclusive in Greece and Cyprus this year, I'm so tired I let my wife do everything and for places like Budapest or Vienna where there are more things to travel and see I'd want to plan it myself ;)

If you ever go to Vienna, I can give so many recommendations.

The Jewish quarter in Leopoldstadt has some very good Bukharian restaurants. And you got the Prater amusement park just 10 minute walk away.

I approved its registration, I'm just probing to see if it's a bot. It was looking at this thread for awhile.

I don't appreciate probing. I'd consider myself super-straight to be honest. I just don't find anything sexually attractive about the male form. Is the war over yet?

Some people think Trump is jump pumping the markets before we attempt a full scale invasion. Glad to see gas prices drop a bit though. Filled up for under $40 yesterday after a couple months of $50-60 fill ups. Also seems like bibi is having some legal issues, and making a scene in israel. I do wonder if he is removed if peace has a better chance of working in the region.

Fucking great. Art of the deal my ass

Report: US to grant Iran sanctions relief on oil and fuel sales immediately upon signing agreement

The United States will allow Iran to immediately begin selling oil and fuel as part of the agreement to end the war, thus providing Tehran with an early financial incentive to reduce and end the conflict. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing sources involved in the details of the agreement. According to the sources, the clause regarding the granting of exemptions from sanctions on oil sales will take effect immediately upon signing the agreement this week. A senior American official clarified that although Iran will receive immediate relief from sanctions on oil sales, further relief will be conditional on its compliance with U.S. demands on issues such as opening the Strait of Hormuz and its nuclear program. Additionally, Tehran will still not have immediate access to billions of dollars in frozen funds.

Gulf states are ready to pay 'protection money' to Iran as it emerges from war stronger

Tehran strengthened by emerging agreement, especially in the eyes of Arab countries, which fear future attacks and so will offer economic support; Axis of extremist Sunni states is stronger, the Abraham Accords will not expand, and the biggest loser is Israel

This is exactly what I meant a while back when I was talking about Iran ending up in a better position than before the conflict. Trump has no real care for actually crippling the Iranian regime, he just wanted the aesthetics of bringing them down. Same with Venezuela.

I think he just didn't have a plan, then no patience, thinks he can decide when it starts and ends in a few weeks or whatever, and doesn't know how to negotiate

I think he thought he had a plan. Trump has a child-like view of the world and he thought he could scare the Iranians with American military might. He thought he could intimidate them with bombastic words and threats. But when his theatrics didn't work, he did grow frustrated and started to look for any off ramp that he could spin into a positive for us. In reality, we have spent a vast amount of resources to set back their nuclear program only temporarily. If we can't finish this now, Iran 100% will be gunning for a nuclear weapon as fast as they can. Their infrastructure will be rebuilt, and their military reconstituted. There is currently an excellent chance that Iran ends up in a better position down the road thanks to Trump's incompetence in military and geopolitical matters. He is simply in way over his head here, and it is entirely self-inflicted.

You think Trump planned the entire thing on his own? It seems to me that people watching this conflict have seen that they need to possess nuclear weapons as a deterrent against the US and it's allies.

Report: US intelligence assesses Iran can now block Hormuz Strait at will

U.S. intelligence agencies recently assessed that Iran is now capable of effectively blocking access to the Strait of Hormuz whenever it chooses. This was reported by CNN, citing three sources 'involved in the findings.' According to the sources, this means the ayatollah regime has acquired a powerful new capability to damage the global economy as a result of the war. Iran has essentially demonstrated that it is capable of blocking access to the straits during the current conflict, and U.S. intelligence assessments indicate this could happen again. One source said: 'We have now given Iran de facto control over the strait – a weapon more powerful than any nuclear bomb.'

You think Trump planned the entire thing on his own?
Pretty much. I quite imagine he sits down with the joint chiefs, lays out what he wants, and asks how it can be accomplished. Whether it's snatching Maduro, bombing Iran, or trying to develop his stupid battleship, he has his vision and he expects the military to accomplish it for him.

It seems to me that people watching this conflict have seen that they need to possess nuclear weapons as a deterrent against the US and it's allies.
That's not a groundbreaking revelation. That has been clear for quite some time. However, Iran was playing the long game with "secretly" developing their nuclear weapons.

Report: Copy of alleged U.S.-Iran agreement outlining 14 provisions published

Al Arabiya's English-language network claimed it obtained a copy of a 14-point agreement between the U.S. and Iran, which allegedly presents the provisions of the memorandum of understanding. The first clause states that the countries commit to an "immediate and permanent cessation of war on all fronts, including Lebanon." Another clause states that "the U.S. commits to creating a comprehensive plan for Iran's economic rehabilitation and development, ensuring funding of at least $300 billion." Another clause states that "Iran reiterates that it will never produce nuclear weapons. The fate of enriched material will be addressed in a final agreement." It also states that the U.S. will lift the blockade on the Strait of Hormuz and withdraw its forces from surrounding areas within 30 days at most. The document also addresses the issues of sanctions on Iran and the unfreezing of its assets.

Fuck that. Fuck that so much. So what was the the point of the blockade if we are just going to pay them back for everything??

including Lebanon
Screwing you guys over again.

Iran reiterates that it will never produce nuclear weapons.
I'm sure we can totally take their word. They have such a great track record of honesty.

The document also addresses the issues of sanctions on Iran and the unfreezing of its assets.
And again, leaving them better off than before. All of our previous pressure now just goes out the window like it never happened.

I knew he would fuck this up.

Generational fumble. DeSean Jackson on the 1 yard line. Even if this is to just buy time for the midterms and the peace gets torn up afterwards, this prevents Hez from getting taken off the board and is as bad a reputational hit to American prestige as Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal. How can any leader agree to such insane points like letting Iran extort ships passing through the Strait?!
