I recently started a petition requesting the merger of the UFC and WEC. It's been a hot topic lately and I think the fighters of the WEC deserve to fight on the same stage that the fighters in the UFC fight on. WEC fighters put as much time and effort into their training and it shows as the WEC often holds some of the years most exciting bouts and biggest upsets. Great examples of each can been seen in both of Miguel Torres' fights this year.
Lame first post I know, but I'm trying to see how far I can take this thing. Fighters in the WEC deserve the same pay and publicity as their UFC Brethren.

You realize that even though some of the top guys would be getting paid more, you would be putting a lot of guys out of a job with a merger, right?

At first I was gonna respond with something like this but in a loooong drawn out paragraph and didnt feel like it. But, yes, this sentence pretty much somes up what would happen

Exactly.. and everythings fine the way it is so why change it
