What if ...
Every six months we hold a "mod raffle." Anyone who wants to can buy a ticket, and then we randomly select the next mod.
They're happy cuz we have a mod, you're happy cuz we have continuous raffles, the site gets a small regenerating fund of money for maintenance and upgrades, everyone wins!

I'm wondering because clearly, CLEARLY, a man of your stated sophistication, intelligence, and integrity wouldn't stoop so low as to freeload onto a site made and maintained by people he calls bots and has no respect for, right?
