Hello fellow MMA junkies, We always talk about "The casual MMA fan" and use it in such a negative way. Now the time has come to turn the tables on ourselves. In this topic list the things that YOU are a casual fan of.
I am a casual fan of: Football, baseball.
I am a hardcore fan of: MMA!!!, Modest Mouse, Mortal Kombat(not as much anymore since by 360 broke, but I used to be able to recite the roster and storyline for almost all of the games)
You're not limited to just sports, you can list anything you casually/hardcore-ly watch/do/are a fan of in general.

I used to be a hardcore fan of hardcore music.

Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives: love the show, actually have found 2 great places to eat that were shown

Causal:
I can't think of much I am a casual fan of, I either love it or am indifferent, not enough hours in the day to be a hardcore fan of much else.

Hardcore fan of (besides MMA) rockcrawling, my favorite band Hatebreed and lifting weights. Lots of weights.

Hardcore: Hockey(The Oilers), Music(Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Ozzy, Zakk Wylde, Jerry Cantrell, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden being the biggest artists I'm hardcore for), Movies(Almost anything with/done by Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Johnny Depp, Daniel Day-Lewis, Martin Scorsese, the Coen brothers, Paul Thomas Anderson, there's probably more), TV shows (Arrested Development, Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The UK Office, Lost, Dexter, Flight of the Conchords), sideburns, and MMA.
Casual: A lot of other bands/artists, a lot of other movies and TV shows, basketball, cooking/baking, history and greek mythology (though I could easily become hardcore fans of both if I put forth the effort), working out (Mainly the getting back into routine after you've stopped for a while for whatever reason, that stops me from being a hardcore fan of it). That's about it really.

i'm a massive scorcese/de niro fan. my favourite film is casino and i'm a huge fan of the coen brothers. favourite movie of theirs has gotta be the big lebowski or no country for old men.

hardcore: NFL(cowboys more specificly), MMA, Fantasy Football & MMA, Movies(all diff), Rock, World Cup, Fitness, NCAAF and soon to be BJJ Training.
casual: MLB, NHL, NCAABB, Hip-Hop(the good artist/not the watered down crap today).
probably more to come later when i can think of it(brain fart)

Feel better now that i let that out. Yes, it is an addiction. I do go through withdrawals..and become a b---- face. Just ask "You know who". He tries to limit me....but impossible. Especially on fight nights when he has had a few talks with the Captain!. (Those two guys are crazy when they get together)
