Not in a sad face way, its just I peefer characters that are super stand out from the get go or I find it hard to pay attention. They all looked normal and had normal personalities
I come from FF7 classic days. Guy with insane blonde hair and a sword bigger than the 1st appartment I rented. Angry black guy with gun arm and daughter, these ain't people you gotta invest in to understand. Larger than life.
Around this point in Exp 33 I had figured people out and then some

I knew what you meant; it was a sad face for me. By that time, I really liked his character: the intelligent, kind, leader/protector. Charlie Cox as the voice actor was nice as well. I was sitting here thinking, "this is the character that's gonna be in my party 100% of the game." Then...that s---. I mean, the scene was well done, and they got the reaction they were looking for out of me, lol. I just found it really strange that the writers were like, "Hey, I think it'd be a good idea to just switch out the main character after act 1!" Anyway, it's still been a great game so far.
I hear ya about the different character types/designs, and I guess you could say I prefer same as you, but I don't have any troubles if the characters are more grounded either.

I guess I'm not used to that style of character in the more current gen of games, I hadn't played a game from PS2 till just about a year or 2 ago
