What are you playing?

Yeah based off what I know about you, I wouldn't think it'd be up your alley.

I'm going to get the new 007 game today, I'll let you know if that's any good. I have high hopes, it's from the people who made the Hitman franchise.
How much does it cost?

I was looking at that also.

I didn't know that, but that sounds promising. Huge fan of the Hitman series going all the way back to the PS2.
It's really good so far. You DEFINITELY feel the Hitman influence. It's not at all like Goldeneye. It's almost like a Hitman lite in terms of stealth, distractions, sneaking, and what not, with the gunplay and melee dialed up a few notches. Levels aren't as open ended or sandbox, but that works in its favor. Very entertaining, feels kinda like I'm playing through an Amazon TV show. So far, well worth it.

That sounds amazing and is a game I didn't know I needed. There were so many shit Bond games following Goldeneye that I had just figured there would never be a good one again. But this sounds like a perfect marrying of concepts. I can't wait to play it in 2040.

You should be able to pick it up for about $63.72 during Cyber Monday by that time.

I enjoyed nightfire and the one after that back in the day before my official video games retirement

Never played it. I haven't retired, I'm just on an extended break. Before my second daughter was born, I was starting to be able to get small amounts of time in on my Switch, but that has gone out the window even since baby #2. I have quite a list going of games I need to catch up on when I eventually have free time again.

I'm thinking about buying a Steam Deck, or even that other one that Crete told me about awhile ago. Handheld gaming will probably be all I get for a few years
