I know what you asked. The question is what does "make it up to the fans" mean to you? I'm thinking a couple of awesome events and we are square; so, in my book, done. It sounds like you are asking for free shows or something. Let it go. My formula that I've repeated a dozen times here at least: "watch MMA, enjoy, repeat." Those who find fault it every little statement, event, or fight must really have a miserable life. I like watching MMA. All MMA. Life is simple, and good.

There are a number of free fights on this year alone. And the upcoming fight cards are so stacked.
He never promised anything other than a blank statement.

And yes, Mabrown I really do believe that the DW hate backs up so much because so many do believe it is "cool" to tear down everything the man does has if he is satan.
I worked for a race track for the past 3 years, and see the same blank hate on message boards toward the management there that is on these same sites for MMA. They will find any reason they can to piss and moan about the person in charge as if they could do it better.----Some people really have a sad life.
I don't think there would have been as much uproar about the Silva fight if Dana made it sound acceptable to be angry. So he acted like a d--- towards his opponent to get him psyched for the fight and wanted Maia to fight with some heart, then when Maia wouldn't engage on the feet he decided to have a dance off with him and Maia got SERVED!!! he should have poured on the pressure when Maia was going after him in round 4 and 5 but he had the fight won and didn't need to risk anything.
GOD SHUT UP! quit bitching! dana white could set up a fight with fedor beating lesnar, GSP, AS, BJ, Cancer, AIDS, the Taliban, pulling kittens out of a tree, all while balancing a cup of water on his head and all the UFC haters would STILL find something wrong with. If you don't like the way a card goes down then quit watching! atleast he's concerned enough about the UFC fans that he even considered it. most heads of major corporations wouldn't give two shits about the people.

Calm down a bit bro.. I don't care about DW's promise at all but to me it seemed like what he was implying by his rant after UFC 112 was that he was going to give the fans a free card because of what happened at 112... Isn't UFC 120 free?? I am more than satisfied with this...

Hahahaaha. I mostly agree though. There are two free cards coming up: the one on versus and UFC 120. While there are free title fights, you can definitely argue that Jone Jones, Tyson Griffin, Yushin Okami, Michael Bisping, Dan Hardy, Carlos Condit, as well as many other of the fighters on these two cards are Pay-Per-View worthy competitors. So you paid $55 and got a boring fight - who cares. It happens. If you bit the whole price yourself, I would suggest getting off the forums and making some friends to split the cost with.

Do you remember when Anderson Silva faced Damien Mia? I do because it was one of the worst fights i've ever seen. Dana white after the fight said he was going to make it up to fans.... i hope he hasn't forgotten that i wasted 45 bucks on that pile of crap.
