Forgot about Crossfire, good call. There a re a ton of new douche bags that post a lot of BS, these guys actually have respectful thoughts about MMA.

Nick, if I remember correctly, I enjoyed being ringside for your bouts with Andre almost as much as Ska/Acco.

Good call on Crossfire. I was going over my list of Tito Haters and saw Crossfire and was wondering what happened to him.
As for Giallo I have seen him on the Junkie main page when I actually read those comments.

My feelings are seriously hurt that you didn't miss me! I thought we buried the hatchet...
I haven't been posting for a while because I've been crazy busy at work (believe it or not, I'm actually arguing a case at the Supreme Court of Canada on the 15th).... and also, the new site design threw me off a little bit. But after seeing how my departure has been lamented by others (one love, Filipino), it may be time for my triumphant return.
Barely one week until Montreal, boys!!!! Look for me at the Bell Centre.... I'll wear my Roy Halladay jersey so you can recognize me.

Wow, the Supreme Court of Canada. Pretty damned impressive. I've missed your comments, too.
Unless you're under some sort of gag order or confidentiality oath or whatever you lawyer types do, please explain to us what the case is about. Even if we know absolutely nothing about it, Nick will still give you an opintion and maybe even some good advice. I mean, if you've seen the pictures of his girl, mystikhands, in the other threads, you'll immediately respect him more. . . or wonder what's going on in her head.

No one tipped me off to the thread. Although I haven't been posting, I still check in periodically. I was actually wondering what happened to Accomando as well (before Nick's time, I think), so I wanted to check this thread.
The Supreme Court case has to do with determining the point at which a police officer has to advise a detained person as to his/her right to counsel, and whether statements a detainee made prior to being given the right to counsel are admissible against him at trial. I will basically be getting peppered with questions from nine judges at the same time (same as in the U.S. Supreme Court), which is pretty intimidating. I usually argue my cases in the Ontario Court of Appeal, where there are only three judges on each case.
Somebody give me the link to pictures of Nick's GF!!! How did they get posted in the first place? Is there a thread where people pasted GF photos?
Anyone else going to be in Montreal for the big show?

This sounds like a very interesting case. Sort of like:
Officer: "You're under arrest."
Detainee: "Screw you, screw the world, and screw that dirty Rat Bastard that I just stabbed to death in the bar over there."
Officer: "I was about to advise you of your rights."
Detainee: "I have rights???"
etc.
Sounds like someone out there wants to protect the stupid from themselves.
But that's in large part what makes our countries so great.
I wish I were going to Montreal. I love that city. Unfortunately, my wife has to do a deposition for a medical malpractice case, so we can't make the trip.
