With the announcement of Cain vs JDS III coming up next, it got me thinking: In your opinion, what has been the best trilogy in mma?
Rarely do they seem to live up to the hype, but I've got to think Cain/JDS III will be fireworks yet again?

Of those 4 guys I am a fan of 1.Chuck..so they don't hold much for me even though overall for many I am sure they do.

Its a hard choice, i wanted to vote Fedor/Big Nog, but it was lopsided and one fight ended early in a headbutt. Gotta go with Wandy/Rampage, so much bad blood and violence, plus Rampage avenged his loses to Wandy.

I liked the Rampage/Wandy series simply because there was such a contrast in how it ended. Wandy completely owned him in the first two, which almost made a 3rd unnecessary. But Page came out and demolished him in the 3rd.
edit: Cain vs JDS could easily take the top spot if even lives up to even half the hype.

Loooooved Chuck/Couture, basically two household name legends going at it.
GSP/Hughes was good because it was basically the two best welterweights of all time, cant get any better than that.
Wandy/Rampage was the most vicious trilogy for sure.
Edgar/Maynard wasnt too bad either.
Melendez/Thomson was pretty action packed
Fisher/Stout too
I think Junior/Cain is gonna be an epic war with someone getting finished in the later rounds. Im gonna say Junior is gonna be in way better shape and Cain is gonna go after him like he did in their second fight. It'll be a war for sure.

I'd have to say Liddell/Couture up until now with JDS vs. Cain passing it soon. Those guys were at the top of the company in terms of popularity and accomplishments. Didn't get much better than watching Chuck Liddell back in the day.
Now with Junior/Cain being so far ahead of everyone in the division, that's going to be the next big trilogy/quartet/quintet/sextet lol
