I've learned that sarcasm can not be conveyed by context alone, even when it's really obvious. It MUST be accompanied by a smilie of some sort.
I've learned that GnP = LnP if it doesn't result in a (t)ko... unless your name is Clay Guida.
I've learned that p4p discussions are about as useful as a third nipple and about as interesting as watching paint dry.

I learned the people will play the obnoxious alpha-male role because they figure you'll never be able to touch them via the Interwebz.

I've learned to ignore any and all comments that NickHavock makes in the comments section under an article on mmajunkie because they are outlandish and have no basis in fact.
I've also learned that if one can reasonably debate an issue without losing their head you can see both sides of the issue and occasionally win them to your side or vice versa. Its amazing how that works.
Lol I've also learned that scott coker is the next pope

If you started watching MMA because of the Ultimate fighter 1 you are "newb, nub, new booty, not a true fan, not a hardcore fan, not a longtime fan" despite the fact that it aired on spike

All of the mma purist have been fans since ufc 1 and loved them all till Dana took over. Nobody stopped watching after ufc 5 cause shamrock vs Gracie was a classic battlzzzzzzzzzzzz. Sorry just fell asleep thinking about it. I will be the first to fully admitt. I watched the orginals when they first happened and hated them, truley one deminsional fighters and it completely turned me off the sport till I was watching ufc 58: USA vs Canada with a friend. Since then I've went back and watched all of pride, all ufc's released on DVD, and anything else I can get a hold of.

If you lose a fight, you should drop down a weight class.
Also, if you lose a fight, you suck.

If you do all that, and only watch TUFER and UFC, then that makes you a TUFER. If you started to watch MMA with TUF, but truely appreciate all MMA, and dont think the MMA world ends withing ZUFFAS ground, then you are a real MMA fan, and no longer deserve to be call a TUFER. But I know where you stad lol...

If you refuse to use anabolic steroids and HGH as part of your fitness regimen you must be a p---- because they are completely safe.

Mma purist- had a boner for pride, thought they had the greatest matches ever, denies the existance of fedor vs zuluziho
tuffer- got hooked because of a stupid reality tv show. Thanks Tito is god and still a legitament threat to the 205 title
wwe fan boy- just started watching because of lesnar, the purist will mock u endlessly denying that a lot of prides fighters wrestled in new japan or all japan pro wrestling.
U have to be one of these three, there are No other options. The rational fan who can just enjoy the athletic competition no matter if it's fedor, Brock, gsp, Randy, andrson, or anyone else does not exist

If a fighter so much as sneezes the wrong way or at the wrong time it will set MMA back 15 years.

You are no longer allowed to like a fighter after they have dropped a few fights... NO EXCEPTIONS
Fighter bashing is not allowed unless its Tito or Matt Hughes.
When bashing Tito be sure to include an insult about his wife.
We all support Womens MMA, which is why we make sexual remarks about Gina every chance we get.
Megumi Fujii does not exist.
