Hunt doesn't have the same skillset OR the cardio conditioning that Cain has, so to have him try to emulate his approach has all the makings of an epic fail. Mark needs to do what he does best...stand and bang. If he comes out ahead, great, if not, oh well.

In my mind, it's the only realistic chance he's got to actually win this. Damned the Torpedoes! Win or Lose, let it all hang out and live with the consequences!

The only chance Hunt has at winning is landing Roy Nelson's overhand right or immediately destroying a leg with kicks. Unless Cain doled out some lasting damage, JDS will completely outclass him, perhaps embarrassingly so.

He could actually win this fight if he can get Dos Santos to Bang with him and turn this fight into a 1rd slugfest, may the best man win type of fight, but I have a feeling we may actually see some of JDSs ground game he's been diligently working on for the eventual rematch with Cain, also steers him clear of the Bombs that could ruin his plans!

Every MMA fighter has the proverbial "puncher's chance" - Mark Hunt can theoretically win in that fashion. JDS isn't an unintelligent fighter, though, so Hunt won't win in that fashion. Or any fashion.
But he has good fashion sense.

Which was the whole point of mentioning the ground game. I did fail to mention lateral movement while on the feet could t hurt. If JDS feels threatened standing(if still conscious) he will bring this fight to the floor. Obviously JDS is supposed to win this fight, that's a given

All of Hunts previous opponents were also supposed to win before he put them to sleep, I think a lot of people are still doubting Hunt can win this fight but imo he has a very good chance considering JDS is coming off his first loss in the UFC and prefers to stand and bang.
Anyone who stands with Hunt is in serious danger JDS is no exception.

Which brings me back to what I said in my first post, make it a 1 rd BRAWL for It ALL! Landing the big punch is his only shot at victory. Man there is always a Chance, especially when you have thunderfist!! Only problem is when you rely on Power, sometimes it fails to show up (for a variety of reasons) then what? Both Men have the ability to end this early, I just feel it is Hunt's only option to actually win it. JDS has other options if he chooses to use them or not is the ????

I think he has to do what hes done is his last few fights just focus on his timing, easier said than done with JDS but I think Hunt actually has a great chance. His BJJ has improved alot since his McCorkle fight, rolling with Stuve says it all.
If Hunt happen to win he should get a title shot, but I'm afraid he wouldn't stand much a chance with Cain. Would a hell of a way to end a spotty MMA career though.

Yeah I agree however even though its Hunts only shot at victory its definitely a good shot and not just the ol punchers chance. Hunt has pin point striking and doesnt just throw with reckless abandon not to mention he sets people up with nice counters, its a tough one to call on the feet and could go either way but I definitely like his chances.

He should repeatedly punch him in the face extremely hard until he is able to land, get JDS wobbled and take away his stamina, then finish him. If he can't connect and connect early, he likely won't win. That being said, it would be totally bad *** if he was able to connect!!!

Maybe 1 lock is a little overdramatic, I put him higher lock, there's still time, not top lock for me personally as I would have Cain and Tex higher lock than Junior.
