We like what we like. I tend to lean towards pintos or black beans, but baked beans can be incredible with a bit of effort.

Not to brag, but I had frozen fish sticks in the air fryer and instant mashed potatoes last night. Only the finest cuisine in my household.

my mom made always instant mashed potatoes.
When i started cooking for myself and realized how easy AND BETTER TASTING it is to make it yourself i felt so offended xD

As much as I love home made mashed potatoes, I've become so used to instant over the years that I sometimes prefer them over the real stuff. But there are levels to the instant stuff as well. The Bob Evans brand instant mashed potatoes are far and away superior to everything else out there. It takes hella work to make Great Value instant taste good.

You eat something full knowingly it is "the worse one" but it is just the taste you expect so it tastes better.

in Germany with have many no name brands, i assume they don't even taste like potato xD
And the "expensive" ones usually are not a problem to eat.
But i prefer fresh made one. With a bit of garlic in it, i could eat until i burst.
Or with gravy on top.. oh boy
