The guy is insanely fun to watch, a total showboat, but a masterful and creative striker, and a bit of a heel, to boot. Why is he not more famous? Why haven't we seen him in the UFC? Am I missing something about him? I'd like to see how his skills stack up with some of the UFC's best. WHY IS HE NOT, ALREADY?!? I KNOW YOU'RE JUST GOING TOS AY THAT HE'S NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE A GOOD GRAPPLER BUT HEY, WE DON'T NECESSARILY KNOW THAT! I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE DEAL WITH BELLATOR IS I CAN NEVER TELL IF THEY ARE A GOOD ORGANIZATION BECAUSE THEY PUT ON SO MANY GARBAGE FIGHTS THAT I DON'T KNOW IF A GUY IS REALLY ANY GOOD WHEN I SEE HIM WINNING FIGHTS ARRRRGH
Bellato has gone to great lengths to give him favorable match-ups, not unlike Cung Le in Strikeforce. He may be the real deal, but we won't know until his level of opposition takes a step up.
He gets injured a lot. I can't remember a previous fight he hasn't pulled out of due to injury.
He's up to fight at Bellator 153, unless he gets injured.
He's under contract with Bellator, that's why he's not in the UFC. And they're bringing him along pretty slowly, trying to build him up. Injuries haven't helped there, he hasn't been particularly active but he's just had a fight announced.
I think Bellator is trying to slow everything down so they can hold onto him longer. Plus with every Bellator win comes 4 more added to your contract or something right?

2 fights in each of the last 2 years, plus 4 fights cancelled due to injury in that time frame. Doesn't seem like they're trying to keep him away from fighting.

He made the mistake of signing with Bellator. Page would've been better off fighting in European promotions. He'd at least be fighting more often building a fan base.

I stopped paying attention to him a couple years ago honestly so I really don't know why he isn't fighting

So if he was in a European promotion he wouldn't have been injured as much?

Didn't know injuries were a big part of his inactivity. But Bellator isn't really high up on creating new young stars. So Page however injury prone would still be able to take as many fights when healthy.
