There are some fighters that just don't seem to get on a roll. Melvin is one of those guys. He gets choked out alot, it seems to me that he would focus on more defense. Or am I just stupid?

Nope makes sense to me. He's athletically gifted but might have a bit of a quiter mentality when things don't go his way - plus out of the octagon issues

His striking is great, but it seems that is all he has. I guess I take it for granted that fighters are working on all aspects of MMA these days.
