Did you really need to change the comment section to look like Bleacher Report and mmaweekly?
I'll never understand the constant updating of something that was not a problem to begin with.. much like foxsports changing their layout is absolutely horrible compared to what it was.
I am sure this will get moved but seeing as how most people who post on the topics on the main page also post in the MMA forum figured it would go here.

While I don't mind either way i think Junkie is just trying to keep up with the times more then anything else. The comment section of old was not much different from comment sections on bulletin boards from ten plus years ago. I know the old saying "if it aint broke don't fix it" comes to mind, but with todays culture that saying doesn't fit much anymore. People want newer and better.

If you go to the main page and look at the comment section under the articles it looks alot like Bleacher Report/mmaweekly now

I usually only read main page stuff from my app. No adds or comments. I have never commented on the main page. I just assumed it was full of dumbasses and trolls like most comments on the internet.

Ya I agree, just went and looked at it. I think it is ugly, but after a month I won't even notice it anymore. Almost all important news is brought to the forums anyway.

I normally just go straight to the forums and skip the front page. It was so easy on the eyes before tho!

I think it's a horrible looking format, not to mention that it is just like other sites. No distinguishing factors is not good branding. Everything on the article pages blends together, really bland. Oh well. We'll get use to it. I like the forums section format, and it's nice they hopefully won't change that, but having the new main page designed by a different company shows no continuity and looks hokey. It's now officially like the forums and the main page are two completely differing entities, which some may like.

I dont like the DISQUS comment module. But the site itself looks super revamped and higher quality. I like it. The DISQUS thing idk.......i guess ill give it shot.

when you put it that way, it's ok. I haven't went on mmaweekly in years though.
