I know there are similar threads but haven't seen one for a while and we obviously have new members come aboard daily. Keep in mind this is NOT "What was the first you UFC that you saw" BUT"During what period of time did you start watching?".

Just flipping through channels on our illegal satellite when I saw a house that looked like he was about to fight someone, I had to stop. I then saw his opponent and thought, "OK. what is going on here" They started introducing the fighters and I was already excited as s--- just looking at the guys who were about to fight. They came out and soon after I watched a man get spiked on his head and the big guy swarm him like he was trying to kill him. Then the arm bar finish later, just pure awesome. That entire fight made me fall in love with the sport. That mas my first taste of MMA.
I've always been interested in MMA, but never really got into it. Then I saw online that Brock Lesnar was gonna fight in the UFC. I stopped watching wrestling in my teenage years, long before Brock was even a name there, but I still wanted to see him get his *** kicked. I thought no way a WWE guy can switch over and take on real fighters.
The card turned out really good. 4 submissions (3 guillotines, my favorite move) and 2 TKOs later, they made a die-hard out of me. Oh yeah and Brock got subbed in a minute and a half after going Angry Gorilla on Frank Mir. I've ordered every one of them but 2 or 3 and those I missed was because I was working and couldn't get replaced.
First introduction into MMA was videos of Wandy and Sakuraba. Didn't really get into it until UFC 46 when BJ choked that a$$ out for the WW belt. Ahh, good memories, the house I was at had at least 30 people and we all went off when BJ won.

Im pretty new to the MMA seen I have been interested since I saw Chuck vs Page on Sportscenter a while back then I started getting more intrested and then I watched the TUF 9 and fell in love

Shortly after UFC 1 came out on video. I was only 12-13 at the time, never heard of it before and saw it was real fighting so I gave it a try. I had no combat experience or knowledge at the time other than stuff from movies, boxing and pro wrestling. I had no idea what was going on in most of the fights other than the kicks and punches and the commentating was so poor I was lost. Once the UFc got their s--- together and provided useful info my interest grew. But my first expeerience was terrible and I didn't see myself become a fan of it.
Started watching for fun renting the videos at the video shop, damn that had to be about 1994 or so.
Started getting into it hardcore I would say in 02/03... watching GSP in TKO/UCC, then his debut at UFC 46 against Karo. Good times.

Hate to admit my newbness but ufc 95. Flipping threw the channels feb 2009 and saw ufc 95. First fight I saw was Dan hardy Rory markham. Hence the screename lol. After that fight I rented from netflix and researched on the computer..... I was hooked! I guess I was 15 at the time
around UFC 50-60 i followed rich franklin when i first started watching it.Still my fav fighter.downloaded many pride fights,pancrase,k-1,strikeforce,and Japanese shows.I ordered every UFC from 98 to 114,cost me alot of money lol
i've always been a WWF fan ever since i was a kid so i was always looking to see some fights and i remember seeing commercials for some early UFC events when i was in 8th grade but i never got to see them at the time. but then the internets was invented when i was in high school and i heard about this thing called PRIDE so i downloaded a VCD of a pride event to see what its about and i fell in love with it. I have a horrible memory and I dont remember which pride event it was exactly but i remember seeing Crocop just delivering the craziest head kick I have ever seen. From that point on i watched all the pride i could and then eventually got into watching UFC, and then stuff thats around today like strikeforce, dream, and k-1.
tldr: high school.
