JDS has lost twice to Cain, and he hasn't handled them well, making excuses to justify why he lost.

Did he make excuses for the second loss too?

Said Cain's style was boring. Basically pulled a Rampage Jackson move, and told the press, "He didn't fight me the way I wanted."

I didn't take that as an excuse for the loss, just a comment on the entertainment value of Cain's style. In the cage after the fight Junior was entirely magnanimous and gave Cain all the props.

I'm all for the fighter letting it out in the cage. Some people get really emotionally invested in the fight, not everyone, but that sort of reaction just tells me they're passionate about the sport, and more power to them.

I hate BS excuses after a loss. Ex: If you do have, let's say an injury, then mention it after you've been destroyed or beaten, but don't say it's the reason you lost. I hate that. Even when some of my most fav fighters say it, it annoys me.

When Cain lost to JDS you didn't hear him mention his injury. His camp mentioned it, but he didn't use that as an excuse.
In the 2nd fight he let his actions speak for it. And people were able to come to their own conclusion that he looked (and performed) differently.
JDS put to much emphasis on his "injuries". So what happens when you're 100% healthy & still get tooled? Now you have no excuses.
Proper way to handle it? Congratulate your opponent and let people know you'll train harder and be back better than ever.

What do you guys think about the way Anderson Silva handled his loss?
I think it was patronizing and condescending. And then he talked about retiring from the division because of one loss in the UFC.

The best way to handle a loss:
Go to court and argue with Bellator/Viacom about contract disputes and then come back after a year and beat their #1 Fighter/Money Maker because they wouldnt let you leave.
Possible next step:
Beat him again and then go on the mic and say "Enjoy Bankruptcy! Im out!" *Drop Mic*

Yep...and I totally wish he wasn't a social retard because I'd want to see him again sadly enough. Just don't interview him up until the weigh ins and I'm sold on a Diaz fight.

If you lose, be gracious, congratulate your opponent if he was truly the better fighter that night. Rewatch the fight and aknowledge your mistakes and make adjustments in training for your next fight.

I'd use it as motivation,
It's no one elses fault but your own, Anderson Silva got complacent against Weidman and messed around too much and he paid the price for that. You've just got to watch it back over and over again and use it to improve and come back stronger, If you lose by a rear naked choke then you go back to the gym and get the best jiu Jitsu guy there to try lock them in and you practice defense against them over and over again until it's no longer a weakness and a concern that you'll get caught in one again
