Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
Brookins and Nam Phan, since they have both fought at 145 before, should and probably will head down there again. I think they can have a lot of success in the 145 division and even become top 10 material.
T
Johnson and Watson, given their prowess in wrestling and BJJ respectively, can do some damage at 155. Top 10 material? I think not. But I can see them hanging with some guys like Joe Stevenson or Jeremy Stephens.

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
I see alot of guys dropping in weight. About 3 or 4 it seem they always give 2 or 3 guys 2 fights inside the UFC.

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
Make it like Rashad Evans make it? or make it like Phillipe Nover make it?
I'd say the four finalists, English, and maybe Mckenzie. The four finalists I see sticking around for a while. English maybe, McKenzie no

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
I dont think many of them are going to really make it in the new UFC LW division. I think this season was sort of a waist and should of been focused on a division that lacked fighters.

I have to disagree, I think Johnson, Brookins and Pham can make it in the ufc maybe even Leeroy and English if they work on their TDD and Watson if he learns to actually cause some damage

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
I think there will be a few that get looks at 145. Michael Johnson is the only guy in the final 4 that probably will stay at 155. McKenzie, Lee-Roy and Sako probably get one fight, if they win they are in for a couple more.

Yeah, I think the ones that get invites to the UFC will immediately go to 145.

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
yeah bruce leroy I see dropping to 145 which seems like it should be an easy cut for him. I think he could have a good shot there and has a good chin. Johnson was landing some bombs on him but he was never really rocked.

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
I think the majority of the fighters in the house will drop down to 145 or even 135. Now, I'm not 100% sure about weigh-in setups, but I think they have to maintain their 155 weight for the whole show. So that means really no cutting weight from like 170 or so. I have at least been under the impression the TUF guys have been fighting near their natural weights. Take Kenflo, Kos, Swick, and Diego from season 1. They all dropped a weight class or two after the show. So, yeah, that's what I think at least.

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
Yeah Swick was fighting at 205 on the first season I remember that.
I think it will be Brookins and Nam Phan for the finalies as well. Phan doesn't look the part but the kid has some sick skills.
Brookins vs Phan for the title
Kyle vs Micheal
Leeroy vs English
Those are my picks for the main show.

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
I can see Nam going to 145 and making some noise there. I can see Johnson definitely getting a shot. All 4 of the guys in the semi-finals will get a shot at the Finale and if they win they'll get into the UFC. I can also see English and LeeRoy getting shots.

Re: Which Lightweights from the TUF are gonna make it in the
I agree Nam fully trained at 145 will make a nice impact.
