With all of the upcoming title fights which one do you think the UFC should do a primetime for? (I obviously didn't include Johnson/Moraga & Aldo/Korean Zombie because it's too late) Personally I think they should do one for Henderson/Pettis II & Weidman/Silva II.

Co feature prime time for the NYE card sounds like a good idea

GSP will probably have one. Silva/Weidman will probably have one also

Weidman vs Silva II as it's probably the most significant of the upcoming title fights. It will also help bolster Weidman's fan base, and get a better start on developing his marketability if he were to win again.

Naw, not a good idea takes away from the concept of primetime.

The combat sports world really takes center stage to the rest of the world when the heavies are fighting.
This trilogy is the first credible HW rivalry in the UFC organization. Sure Andrei/Tim and Mo' Smith/Mark Coleman and maybe even Brock/Mir were notable ones, but not exactly totally credible. (With maybe the exception of Smith/Coleman in their respective era.)
Cain is a real world champion.
Dos Santos is a real world champion.
Both have beaten each other.
Both are head and shoulders above the rest of the competition, they are clear number 1 and number 2 to the rest of the division.
Both represent different demographics significant in MMA community, Cain the from southern California mixing-pot and JDS the Brazilian and because of this they both create emotions of regional alliances and is a culmination of not only fighters, but two of the most significant groups within MMA.
It is a great story with two great individual competitors at the center of it. You are happy for who ever wins the fight, and sad for whoever loses the fight because they are both classy representatives of the sport. And lead ups to the fight will only highlight those aspects and make people emotionally attached to the fighters.
-I've seen GSP countless times on these things, he is a nice guy, so is Hendrix, but frankly, they are both boring. I do not think the fight will be. But the primetime will be.
-Henderson/Pettis II as a WEC fan was a wet dream when I saw how this fight took shape. Personally, I do not need a single thing to hype this fight because the first one was probably one of the most competitive fights in the history of the sport. Maybe the added attention to the two would be great, especially those that did not watch them develop in the WEC.
-Jones/Gust. would be cool I guess but even though this might be one of the better match-ups, to me it is kind of getting overshadowed in all of the other major title announcements.
-Silva/Weidman. Silva needs to go home, shut the hell up, and get a little serious again. No cameras, no super fights, he needs to go back and just fight his opponent again. Weidman needs to thank his lucky stars that he was able to out think and one up Silva and hope to god that Silva does not get serious again.

The only downfall, is that they already did a Cain/Dos Santos Primetime special.

I would like Bones/Gustafsson to get it. They should do it to get people hyped for the fight and to show Gusto has a chance at winning. Which i think he does anyway, but do it for the PPV.

Why not for all of them? I liked every Primetime so far and to me it make sense to get a glimpse at the training and sacrafices these fighters make along with personalizing them outside of the cage as well. I really don't see why they don't do more of them

Certainly not Bones v Gusto. Gus is fine, quiet but fine. Jones talking, yapping on about stuff that he doesent even understand what he means is not what I would class as primetime entertainment. FUK NO!!!

Askren vs Koreshkov
Even as arguably the biggest GSP nut swanger on these forums, I don't need to or want to see another primetime about him and his next opponent. Give some new blood the chance to get their story out to the fans because seeing GSP for the 3,000th time isn't going to show anybody anything new.

CHAMPION Weidman vs Challenger Anderson is by far the most fascinating story in the UFC right now.

No Shitt!!! Haha
The difference between me and let's say a Fedor hater is, I can see greatness when I see one, I know Bones is a great fighter but the hate diks of Fedor can't see behind the hatred a good fighter, where I can..
I will continue to hate on him cuz the way he acts and says, not fights. Im honest enough to admit it(other haters aren't though).

Looks like were getting primetime's for 166, 167, & 168. They are slipping on doing one for Henderson/Pettis.
