i don't know why i just think of this after a fighter loses. more cuts are coming i'm sure. i haven't looked up any official stats(consecutive loses). But i think these fighters are in trouble if they lose one more time: Stephan Bonnar. the original ultimate fighter hasnt done much lately. Keith Jardine. he has at least 5 loses i can think of in the ufc( 4 by KO). Gabriel Gonzaga. 1 kick wonder. anybody else you guys can think of?

Dont know if Jardine is "close to being cut", but he is sure as hell is in a sorry rut... not sure about the guys chin - he looks tough, but I am not so sure...
Ed Herman has been cold lately.... and the injury @ UFC 102 was awful luck...
Chris Leben is looking at an uphill climb
Chris Tuscherer is in way over his head, but I think he has only had one fight, I am sure they will give him another shot.
Phillipe Nover if he proves to be a medical liability in the long run
Not sure how long Ben Rothwell will stick around after Velasquez rearranges his dental work.
Chael Sonnen needs a win bad vs. Okami
Stefan Struve is a joke, he cant last much longer
Hermes Franca looked pretty bad vs. Tyson Griffin in his last fight... outta shape and whatnot.... he might be on his way out soon

Sonnen is coming off a dominating victory over Dan Miller who was on a tear winning his first 3 fights in the octagon
Rothwell is a legit fighter, really doubt the UFC brought him in for a 1 and done

GSP has been going to decision lately, so i can see the UFC cutting him if he dosen't start finishing fights :roll: :lol:
But seriously i can see Bonnar not so much being cut, but just not fighting anymore. After 4-5 losses it's hard to get approved by the athletic commition in the US (not japan though
). But I'm sure the UFC would give him a job of some sort in the company.

Are you guys idiots? Franca on his way out. Franca finishes most of his fights by TKO, Sub. He fought one of the best LW's in the world off a knee injury. I dont think Franca will be cut just yet. Maybe if he loses his next fight. Franca is a fan fave.

Dana is not going to cut too many guys with Strikeforce booming right now. If anything, he will keep signing. Not sure why he didn't pick up King Mo *shrug* that guy could be built up pretty good IMO...
If he does cut fighters, Strikeforce will scoop them up and grow, Dana wont let that happen. If anyone, hes going to cut the new guys that lose consecutively or guys with no name recognition. No matter how many fights the mid level fighters lose (Leben, Kongo, etc), they won't be cut for a while. Not with Strikeforce on the lookout for fighters.

If I had to guess, he will cut Tuscherer if he loses again. He will give him another chance due to his nuts going into his stomach though lol.
Maybe Danzig, but doubtful.

That is surprising. Franca is a game opponent. He will be a nice pick up for Strikeforce or Bellator.

I don't think his loses are the bigger reason. He hasn't made weight numerous times, combine that with recent loses and i think they just got sick of his crap imo. He was 4 pounds overweight vs Griffin.. Causeing it to be a catchwieght fight at the last minute.

I assume you just want big names and not all the prelim fighters that are 0-1 (Steinbeiss, Jay Silva, Al-Hassan, etc)
I think Karo Parisyan could be close to the cut line if Hazelett embarasses him.
Cole Miller could get the axe if he gets beat by Dan Lauzon on 1/2/10

In Sakara's defense, he has never lost more than 2 fights in a row in his career. Since he's been in the UFC, he's gone 6-4. I think he would need to lose at least 2 or 3 in a row in order to be cut. The rest of those guys, though could lose every fight from now till the end of time and still be with the UFC.
