This thread is not to discern necessarily the "best" fighters but the one you look forward to watching the most. For me its a tie with BJ Penn and Brock Lesnar, BJ because he's so exciting to watch and Lesnar because you never know what the hell he's going to do + the guys a beast ...thought?

For me, it's Fedor. The suspense before and during each and every one of his fights drives me up a wall. Is this going to be the first time Fedor loses? How will it happen? Will it be another vintage performance?
I don't think any other fighter draws me in like that.

Yeah Fedor is great, there are only a few fighters you get that kind of anticipation before a fight and he's one of them

Well said. I am exactly the same when it comes to Fedor. The suspense before the fight and the adrenaline after the fight makes me crazy.

I find GSP really entertaining but I don't know if he is THE most entertaining.. Wandy is really entertaining though. That guy is never in a boring fight.

Rampage is one for me along with the others already mentioned.
from the walkout, to the way he fights, to the after fight mic skills when he's won.....that dude is a walking super bowl commercial.

Yup.
Other fights that built up/will build up that kind of tension:
-Rampage vs. Silva III (great payoff)
-Sanchez vs. Koscheck (dud)
-Rampage vs. Evans
-Machida vs. Shogun II
-Silva vs. Belfort
-Mir vs. Carwin
The key ingredients:
1. THE STAKES have to be big for one or both of them
2. You have to CARE about the result
3. You have to have the feeling that somebody could get knocked out AT ANY SECOND
4. Ideally, the fighters have talked s--- and DON'T LIKE EACH OTHER
Fedor fights are ideal because he's basically unbeaten, and the mytique if invincibility has gotten pretty crazy. This is also why some of us feel that the lighter weight clases aren't quite the same. When Silva came stalking after Rampage looking for KO #3 and Rampage looked to counter....that was awesome. When Diego and Guida punch each other 100 times it's kind of xciting but it isn't the same. The build up to a violent ending is what it's all about, not non-stop pitter-pattering.

Rampage and Fedor or my favorites to watch. Fedor always makes fights exciting and any time hes in trouble your thinking could this be his loss. Rampage is always in good fights always has great build up and is a genuinely funny guy. (not Wes Sims funny) After his fights he gives good interviews and after every loss he may run over people in a monster truck.
So thats exciting too. Right?

Fedor and Mousasi since they're dangerous anywhere and just go with the flow.
Aoki because there's no way he can take his opponent down or strike with him, but it always ends on the ground in some crazy sub. He's number 2 LW for a reason.

outside of his 2 lackluster fights in the ufc anderson silvia has to take this one... all fights by tko ko or sub( outside of the two). with that many fights and considering how many were with the title on the line and he still finishs. add in rage in the cage and his pride days i really don't see who has done more. bj is fun but if he is not at 155 he gasses and i just want to throw my tv remote through my tv considering all that potential and a piss gass tank.

Kenny Florain is quite amazing. This guy looks like a total wimp, but he always entertains.
Anderson Silva- I haven't seen anyone else in MMA effectively throw side kicks, crescent kicks, and reverse elbows while standing. Also, he is able to Roy Jones Jr dodge every now and then.
