Who would win? Marquardt vs Okami

I think it entirely depends on which Okami and Nate show up. Either could take it depending on how they go about it.Meaning that if the Nate that gets taken down repeatedly and does nothing from his back shows up, Okami takes it. If the Okami that wants to stand and trade shows up, Nate takes it.

be a top contender again until he gets over this delusion that he is a good grappler and gets a guard game. Name me one person at Jackson MMA with a good guard, Stevenson is the best and he bad bjj before he went to jacksons.
Before Nate fought Chael Sonnen I would have said Nate hands down. Now fast forward 2 months and judging from both guys' most recent fights, it gets much harder to call. Nate probably does have a slight advanta0e on the feet, but Okami's boxing looked much better. And also, if he could employ the same gameplan Chael did, which he should be able to do, then he could take the decision or possibly even pound Nate out. It's a much closer fight right now than it would have been. I picked Okami to win, but it was mostly a fanboy pick.

Agreed entirely... Im probably a bigger fan of Marquardt but I like both fighters and think this might be a good matchup for Yushin...
It's crazy how in like 3 months people went from saying Nate had gotten so much better that a fight with Anderson may look different then the first one, and even Anderson said Nate was next to take the title, to Nate is a good match up for Okami. It's MMA and anything can happen, but I didn't think Nate would be a good match up for anybody but Anderson as of late and then he goes and gets his *** handed to him by Chael.

I was watching in disbelief when nate was getting dominated by chael. I mean, he trains with gsp and rashad who are awesome wrestlers i thought he would have been able to stuff the takedowns and get up from his back if he had to. I still think nate will be champ when AS retires or moves to lhw.
