Yeah but with Bill Gates' money you could buy the best teams, drink the best liquors, smoke the finest cuban cigars, gamble in the billions of dollars, and play golf from Augusta to Dubai without batting an eye. I think i'd have to go with Gates. There's so much more you could do with $50 billion it would be fun to see if I could spend it all before i die. I bet if I really tried I could.

That's why the brain factor is the big one. But the money factor is there too...sure, with Jordan's money you can buy anything you want, but with Gates money you can change the world.

Bill Gates is so damn rich, he could buy Michael Jordan, just to have him shake hands and sign autographs with the MS staff. MJ has a contract with Nike, Gates could own Nike tomorrow if he wanted. MJ gambles as a high roller VIP at luxury resorts and casinos all over the world, if I was Gates, those would be my casino's MJ gambles at.
I'm surprised no one has brought up the "sports icon" factor yet. I haven't seen any 12-year-old kids with a poster of Bill Gates on their wall yet.. have you?

I rather be Bill Gates spend billions and not get bothered by annoying *** fans, 50 year old men who worship me, and damn just have all the money in the world to spend and share.

That is not attractive to me at all, so was not a factor. It is a shame that kids have pictures of Jordan rather than Gates or Sagan on their wall, but I certainly understand why.

That's not a selling point. The guy can't go to the movies without being mobbed. Bill Gates not only has the money, he can go wherever he wants and not worry about being harassed.
