They hold the gun sideways for the same reason they wear a baseball cap backwards. To show the world that they are so cool they don't have to use their equipment the way it was designed & therefore get none of the benifit the equipment could provide them. In the fail thread there is a picture of a dip shite wearing has hat backwards & holding his hand up to his forehead to block the sun from his eyes. A very cool dude who probely gets alot of chics.

Because of the Gun Recoil.......but most rappers don't hold guns because they are full of s--- and it's just an image they portray.
