It seems logical considering hes one of the only notable featherweights outside the WEC. His next fight is on December 31 so he could be the first big name featherweight that the UFC signs (obviously i'm not including the ones that come from the merger).
If they do get him do you guys think he is worthy of an instant title shot at Jose Aldo who will probably have dealt with the rest of the featherweight division by the end of next year?
If not where do you think he would fit into the UFC FW picture?
I personally think he could easily hang with guys like Grispi and Gamburyan but cant see him beating Aldo
I would rather see the UFC sign Sandro. They will probably sign Fernandes before him though, since Fernandes has been complaining about DREAM not paying them

Dream offers a hella lot of top 145ers. i think they should chase all of them down to replace Manny and Brown. Give Aldo a new match up since hes fought 3 fihgters with identical styles, size and height.

I totally agree, in fact, It's pretty probable if Dream ends up folding, and with the rumors of the financial peril, that's probably inevitable.

The problem is that SF would have to get them fights. With Dream gone, that leaves WVR and SRC as the only major promotions in Japan, and there just wouldn't be enough fights for most of those guys in SF.

The UFC has a bigger bankroll, and would offer them more money than Strikeforce. Not only that, but you'd have to throw Bellator into the mix. The UFC and Bellator have established 145 divisions and belts. Strikeforce does not.
