If you noticed, Strikeforce was using pink tape on the gloves in honor of breast cancer for all the fights except for the main event. Also, the NFL had pink on the players' cleats and hats of the coaches. Do you think the UFC will have their fighters have the pink breast cancer tape on their gloves? Or does this depend on the athletic commission?

I don't see why not. Guys like Phil Davis and Rich Franklin are big supporters. Javier Vazquez wears pink a lot too. Though I think he's just a weird guy who likes pink too much.

My mom, grandma, and aunt all had breast cancer, so i'm all for Breast Cancer awareness and pink ribbons and all that. I don't think the UFC has to do something with pink because SF did though. Breast Cancer has nothing to do with MMA at all. Doing that thing for Mask was cool, and doing shows for Marines is all fine and good, but I mean stuff like Breast Cancer just doesn't really have any relevance in MMA.
Why didn't the UFC do anything for Black History Month, or a Valentines day show, or an upcoming Thanksgiving segment? If it's not MMA related in some way, I just don't see the point in doing it.

They prob will, or do something to support it. Doesn't have to be pink tape, could have a big ribbon in the middle of the octagon. Just giving out another idea, thats what I would do honestly.

Then considering cancer is only disease related, shouldnt it be left out of everything besides hospitals? I dont think your logic works well here, considering everything recognizes breast cancer awareness. It is just the right thing to do.

i doubt UFC would get rid of a sponsor's logo in the middle of the octagon...I take it that logo is the most expensive and replace it with something that benefits women with cancer. If they do mad respect but lets face it....MLB puts the ribbon in the centerfield where everyone can see it, NFL puts them in the end zones......mad respect for UFC if they do it, but I doubt it

I could see SF or someone doing it because they have female fighters, but UFC only has ring girls. It just doesn't make sense. You don't see the UFC doing nut cancer awareness, and their fighters are all male. I'm sure they will do something small with pink. I just don't see the need to do something like this proceeded by guys kicking the s--- out of each other. Doesn't quite seem like the place to be doing breast cancer awareness.

I dont think you get the point of the breast cancer awareness campaign. It is to make people like you (who think it doesnt have a place) understand that everyone can help fight breast cancer.

Educate me. What can a bunch of guys that are paying money to watch guys fight do to help fight breast cancer? What is going to happen when I see pink gloves or a pink ribbon in the ring? How will that help me fight breast cancer?

Wow for someone who claims to have breast cancer in multiple generations of his family, you sure dont know much. The point is money. When you see a big pink ribbon you should be motivated to donate. Motivated to volunteer your time to help people. Tons of products support breast cancer awareness. It isnt about pink ribbons its about the message behind it.
If you dont care about people dying from a disease that they can fight, I dont think I will be able to convince you otherwise.
