So who do you think are the worlds best guitarist's?
Obviously this is opinion based which makes for good discussion
Personally I like guitarists who make what they are doing look effortless while still having a passion for their playing.
I personally think Tommy Emmanuel is one of the worlds best. he was also the last person ever to be classified a C.G.P. (Certified Guitar Player) by the late Chet Atkins. In the May 2008 issue of Guitar Player Magazine, Tommy Emmanuel was named as "Best Acoustic Guitarist" in their readers poll.

Also I really enjoy Lee Kyung Won,
Fantastic Korean guitarist, who plays amazing versions of video game themes. His note playing is absolutely perfect and he does each song with such ease, it really blows me away.

Jimi Hendrix
Hendrix won many of the most prestigious rock music awards in his lifetime, and has been posthumously awarded many more, including being inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005. The United States National Recording Registry, and Rolling Stone named Hendrix the top guitarist on its list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time in 2003.
