A lot of people saying it's up there with the all-time worsts... I have to disagree though.
I thought her take was more R. Kelly'ish than Roseanne Barr.
At least Roseanne got the words right though... Carl Lewis might have the worst ever (of anyone who actually finished):

I've always blamed the Roseanne incident on whatever idiot booked her to sing in the first place. What the heck did they expect? Carrie Underwood 2.0?
Yeah Rossanne was a at least a comedian and could fall back on that but Gawdamm Fergie did the thing I hate the most.
Like I can laugh at Carl Lewis or anybody completely losing the words because admittedly that sh1t can happen when that many eyes are on you.
But it's when the big ego artist just HAS to do there own rendering so far off the map that it ceases to be the same song.
Like wtf? A Frank Zappa/Lorde duet coulda rendered a better version than that pooped soup version she spewed out.

I want to interview the poor souls that had to play the musical accompaniment.
They had to be confused as hell when given their instructions.

This was especially brutal because she is supposed to be a professional singer. Carl Lewis? Roseanne? Not singers. Fergie?? Doesn't she even have a grammy? She tried to channel her inner Marilyn Monroe crossed with Amy Winehouse and it just came out like a drunk girl signing in her bedroom.
