Silva is really the class of the MMA world.
Which would you rather see? Silva move up and face that winner, now that Machida has a long way back to the title. Or a Gsp fight.

Winner of Jones/Rua.

I can see Silva going against GSP before I see him against Jones. Jones is good but he's no GSP. I can see now that everyone's gonna push for Silva to go against Jones. Either way, Silva can take both of them easily.

GSP. There are still lots of fights at Light Heavy for either Bones or Rua. GSP and Anderson have both cleaned their divisions.

Forget Jones, give us Shogun vs AS!

Only one pick available.
GSP would not do well against Silva.

Both if Silva can beat GSP than he needs to move up.

I agree lobster but, he is the only person that is close to be good on a technical level. Honestly, there is no one current that I can think of that is a real fighter and martial artist like Anderson Silva. That guy was born to fight and to win.

I'd had a boner with either fight, although I think GSP and Jones would beat him easily......imagine Sonnen but without getting submitted

Silva vs Jones would be a wicked match-up. I would pay 100$ to see that fight.
Silva vs Rua is still very dangerous for Silva as Rua is very resilient and is coming off of a massacre of Machida.

GSP moves to middleweight permanently and fights AS. Win or lose, AS retires or goes to LHW and GSP is left to dominate the middleweight division.

I'd love to see open-weight fights....maybe not LW vs HW, but definitely would love something like GSP (at whatever weight he wants) vs another strong wrestler like Bader or Aaron Simpson.

I think GSP would get away with his merde for a couple rounds but end up getting subbed or even ko'd if he got silly enough to even square off with Silva.

It has to be GSP still, I almost voted Rua/Jones but there's just too much steam behind both GSP and Anderson.

I dont know why in the hell is Dana not making AS go up to fight shogun... GSP will be a good match, but AS cuts like 25 pounds to fight at MW, he can fight at LHW without a problem, hell, he will most of the times be the bigger guy in the cage... AS vs Shogun is the fight it should happen (in case shogun gets by Jones)

+1
Why the big push for GSP to move up and not Silva???? I can think of MANY WW's bigger than GSP. Silva has ABSOLUTELY no legit competition at MW right now. He needs to be at 205, not embarassing the UFC's biggest star south of Brock Lesnar. GSP is a fantastic fighter, but Silva is just too big and too talented. GSP's only shot would be to perform a 5 round takedown clinic, while avoiding punishment. It COULD happen, but not likely. Silva/Jones, Silva/Shogun, Silva/Rampage are THE big fights the need to happen.
On a side note, anybody think Rashad Evans takes a chance at dropping to MW if Jones gets the belt???

GSP has no legit competition either.

Great thread my man but GSP vs Silva is the way to go.
Then after that? Silva can get a shot at Bones Jones LHW title, no disrespect to Shogun.
I wanna see Anderson/Bones really badly but right now? I wanna see GSP vs Anderson Silva. GSP i believe has a great chance of proving everyone wrong, i mean it's Georges St. Pieere man...

I think Silva vs. Rua/Jones winner would be better than Silva vs. GSP. I like GSP better than Silva but I think it is a terrible matchup for him. Silva would slaughter GSP on the feet and I really don't see GSP being able to hold Silva down on the ground for that long. Silva vs. Rua would be a striking dream match and Silva vs. Jones would be awesome as well because Jones is a bigger and more athletic wrestler than Sonnen with better striking ability. I think Rua can take Silva and I think Silva vs. Jones would be too tough to call.
