I'm settling a discussion-in-jest I had with a friend last night about whether or not people value Harvard (specifically harvard law) and what it represents over Juliard and what it represents. So, if given a choice of these two which one would you rather have your kid fated to go to? Juliard or Harvard Law?

Im not familiar with the Juilliard school but after a quick search it appears to be an art school? Id have to say that it holds little to no value when put up against Harvard.

Art/Music school, yes (essentially the "Harvard" of music schools). We were debating about society's values. I was saying nobody would pick Julliard for the very reason you didn't pick it.

You've never heard of Harvard? I don't believe you.

Well yeah I've heard of it.
I just don't know anything about what goes on in either school to pick one over the other.

Harvard Law..
It just makes more sense. You have a better chance having a successful career as a lawyer with a comfortable bank roll, then your chances of making it as a successful dancer.. I

They also produce actors and musicians. That said Harvard Law. I'd rather my kid end up a douche bag than a little light in the loafers
It depends. If my kid is dead set on becoming a lawyer then Harvard Law is about as good as any to have on your resume.
If he or she is wanting to become an actor/actress then Julliard is the Harvard equivelant.
Some notable Julliard alumni:
Robin Williams
Christopher Reeve
Ving Rhames
Kevin Spacey
Jeanne Tripplehorn
Kelsey Grammar
Kevin Kline
Marcia Cross
Laura Linney
Val Kilmer
William Hurt
Bebe Neuwurth
Mandy Patinkin

You messed up the poll, obviously it should be which one makes you a better person.

Obviously Juliard. You might meet famous people this way, and the only way your life has value is if you know famous people and/or fight mma.
