Not sure what to do here? My buddy...who I have known for a long time. We have been through some sh*t together for sure....bar fights...nights in the drunk tank...even banged two girls in the same room one night.
He is a great guy...he met a girl...maybe a year ago? Cool chic...He proposed to her last weekend. She said yes. So here's the kicker...we went out last weekend for some drinks...to a local club. This song comes on (a two stepping country song) My buddy can't two step...but I can...so she asks me to dance.
When we're walking off the floor she says and I quote "If your ever looking to have an affair...I'm your girl" I didn't say anything. I think I might have winked or something I dunno. I was F*cking shocked!
Soooooooo....so I tell him? I mean...he really likes this chic...but if she's a skank then she's a skank. I hate this feeling...and don't know what to do. So I figured I'd ask some junkies who may have had a similar experiene?
Edit: This girl is hot too...But NO I would never do her. (so don't say DO HER!) Couldn't do that to a friend.

Yeah I kinda know the answer already..well atleast 90% But he really digs her. I just hate to be the bearer of bad news. Plus what if she denies it? He will eventually calm down and realize that he owes you one.
Thank of the flip side and you don't tell him. Later down the line he catches her in the act after maybe there are kids and or a house involved and you have to look back and think about how you ould have done something about it.

True...It's funny cause we used to get drunk and beat the sh*t out each other almost every weekend...It always ended in a drunken hug. But we have had some good ones. I wouldn't be surprised if he hauls off and blasts me one just cause he's mad. Oh well he hits like a F*cking girl anyway. :lol:

Bingo. She's going to screw him over eventually, get him away from her as soon as possible. Imagine if you say nothing and he actually marries this broad...you can't let him do that. Losing a girlfriend/fiance is one thing, but getting screwed over by your wife and divorcing is another whole set of problems. He needs to cut his losses. I don't envy you the conversation (although I must admit I'm dying to hear how it goes), but you know what you have to do.

i wouldnt tell him without proof because in most cases ive dealt with in that regard have ruined some friendships even after they were proven right. best advice is tell him but make sure you have proof concrete evidence that she said something or is doing something. if he loves her it will be extremely hard for him to believe you

I agree with you. Friendships are a great bond, but something about a guy in love just doesnt seem to work out great in situations like these. You have to tell him, but find a tactful way of doing it. Have proof. its not an easy thing for a guy to grasp, especially coming off of just one statement that she made. And girls have this area between their legs that somehow always helps them lie and smooth over a situation... Just be careful how you put it out there.

The down side to this is what if she goes back and tells your buddy that you just asked her if she wants to have an affair and turns it all around on you. A mine field indeed. Who cares if you end up looking like a douche for telling him know. It's better to be up front and not take a chance on the friendship.

i actually disagree, i think you have no option but to tell him regardless of the impacts to your friendship.
If she was joking with you, then fine, you told your buddy and you're a good friend.
If they were joking with you, then fine, you told your buddy and you're a good friend.
