Possibly. I wouldn't turn in someone close over something small, I would just threaten it in a half-asses blackmail attempt to get them to act right. Something like murder though, you have to.

Yeah no joke, that kid may have f---ed the rest of his life. Even if they dont go to jail they might lose custody atleasty temporarily.
As for the question, I think the verdict seems pretty unanimous, it would depend on what they did.
Definitely would depend on what happened and the possibility of what could happen.
Would you do the right thing and report someone for committing a crime against someone you've never met?

I honestly think turning anyone in for weed smoking is freaking ridiculous. Unless of course it's a situation at work, and the weed smoker also happens to be an annoying b---- so you hint to someone in charge that they should drug test this particular person, which gets them fired, and makes your work environment 1 million times better. But any other time it's just ridiculous.
WTF? They taught me the same s--- when I was in school. Hell, they passed around marijuana and rolling papers so we would turn in our parents if we saw them around the house. However, I was not a dumb-f--- who thought it was a good idea to have my parents arrested. Why the hell did they have the weed clearly available for the kid to get his hands on? Hell already rolled and everything apparently. Lot of stupid people in this story. Those parents probably need kids about as much as they need a hole in the head. Still, would probably be better off with two potheads who aren't smart enough to hide their stash than passed through foster care.
I wouldn't turn in a friend of mine for much besides harming a child in some way. In which case they would be lucky if I didn't personally kill the fucks. I can't see turning in a friend for doing much of anything else. Maybe if they were a serial killer so there was always more lives in danger I would. For murder, I almost certainly wouldn't. I suppose It would depend on who was murdered though. In most cases I would leave it up to the police to do their there damn job, I am not paid to stop crime or turn in criminals.
rape and molestation yes. i wont give a unanimous on murder. because if one of my friends kids gets molested by some creep and my friend kills him, i aint turning him in. i can guarantee you that

What an increadibly worthless tool this boy is. A few months later I'd declare him "un-managable" & placed in youth hall. After that, I'd pat myself on the back for disposeing of a burden to the family & saveing money for the kids that respect the team. :twisted:
