No 1 sport. It's not coaching per say. Think of it like a youth sports program that offers all sports. I'd be monitoring/coaching all of the sports.
Their athleticism doesn't matter.
There's only one path that gives you the chance to be made into a Disney movie.

Don't you wanna be Sandra Bullock? You seem like you do.

2 job opportunities for the exact same type of job.i work in youth sports.

Job 1: lower pay, easier job (less athletes to deal with) , worse facility (ni gym), perhaps more weekend involvement, less benefits, I'm in charge or the "program".

Job 2: higher pay, better benefits, better facilities, part of a "team" much harder job (3 times as many athletes) , but less expectations and I'm not in charge.

Thoughts?

Pass on them both, go work at Chick-fil-A, ring up bogus mac & cheese orders, refund them to your personal card.

i live in the boonies right? we don't even have all the big FF chains here (no Wendys for example) but still a lot of FF restaurants
at least 3 restaurants in the past 2 years have had their managers "just not make nightly deposits for like a month" when the owner finally notices (@osubuckeye4 coming unglued here) and stealing the cash and the popo get called
the manager! not just some cashier.
I mean seriously bad controls but who thinks that's a good idea. They are gonna notice that normally you deposit $1500 a night and monday night you did zero. oh all week you did zero? oh all month you had no cash sales at all........................

sigh.

Sounds like a segregation of duties issue.

Manager sounds like they are the one who is performing the cash count, signing off on the cash drawer totals, as well as potentially making the deposit to the bank. Those duties should fall to different people (employee A counts, employee B or manager signs off on the count, manager makes the deposit) to mitigate the likelihood of something like this.

Though, it's always possible the owner set it up correctly and the manager ended up convincing subordinates to commit crimes as well.

Owner, who I'm guessing is very hands off, likely caught the mistake when the monthly bank statement arrived... which is good. Ideally a more hands on owner would be logging into the bank on a periodic basis and making sure things looked accurate, but monthly statement is a catch all and if it was a long-time manager I'm sure the owner had a level of trust established there (which is normal).

Also people are stupid. Petty criminals in particular. One of my somewhat regular take-out places - last 4 or 5 times I called in my order, when I got there "the system just went down, do you have cash?" The time before last I had no cash. Dude went in the back, came out, said now it's working, so I paid with my card. Last time I said "All I have is $30 on me." order total was $55. Jose said "Tirty better den cero y I throw food away, ok amigo tirty fiyne."

Come on Jose, we know what ya doin.

Not a bad idea, but it's never been like that anywhere I've ever worked; it's always just been the manager who handles deposits. Unless they're off, of course, then it's the assistant manager.
