Way more interesting than some boring museum the wife probably wanted to go to
nah she like to do fun stuff. museums on occasion but we both like to move through them not read every damn sign

Same. This is the way.
totally man. when I bought it I was like meh I don't need that shit I been pushing lawnmowers my whole life. but after the first time I used it...

Yes, it IS the way

No, thankfully. Just a dude who owns a company that cuts a few neighbors' lawns as well. $100 a month for cut, trim and blower. Totally worth it.

I have never cared about my lawn. I think they are stupid ideas and plan to turf the front yard and garden the backyard as I get more time.

My God I would kill someone to pay that for a mow. The last quote I got the guy wanted $85 per cut. Get fucked.

In my part of Florida, they charge by the month because I won't see them from November to March as it rarely rains. But in the rainy season he will be here every 7-10 days. I also am on a 1/4 acre where my neighbors kids are physically closer to me than my own because our side yards, that I had concreted over as nothing grew, are only 7 feet wide.

His team is a guy on a zero turn, a trimmer, and a blower. It takes them less than 15 minutes to do the whole thing. They do 6 people in my neighborhood in less than 90 minutes. $600 for those in my neighborhood and he is probably paying his crew $100 of that.

I like some of the new fake grass. but I have dogs, and no matter what the brand it will always smell like a carpet a dog pissed on.

My wife brought in Pedro at $400/mo for that bc she said he was way better than Francisco who was charging me $200/mo.

It's literally the same fucking service...

I've been in the most boring meeting in history for the past 130 minutes and approximately 2 minutes has been relevant to me.

So I went with the John Deere 315 42" zero turn mower. It's pretty much their smallest one. It's got a 42" deck but it is 46" wide and my fence is only 48". So I couldn't go any bigger, but I don't need it anyway. This one is overkill as it is. It was this one or the Cub Cadet. But there is local shop about 1.5 miles away that is a Stihl and John Deere dealer. Free delivery, no sales tax in DE. $3,300 cash. Thank you Borgata Casino!

The availability of quick parts and service right by my house was the decider. Although with the way I'm gonna use it, it will probably be 10 years before it needs service lol.

I pay $50 per. Last summer, it was a different guy for $60 and he never did any trimming. I asked him how much to clear off all the bushes and trees growing up around my fence, and he quoted like $350 or something. This new guy said he would just get it done a little at time over a fews mows for no charge (I gave him $100 anyway), and he also does all the trimming/edging. I got home from work last time he mowed, and he had trimmed my big-ass willow tree without any prompting. He's a disabled vet and just picks up a handful of yards each summer to supplement, plus I think he just likes having something to do. Dude does an awesome job, and I hope he's still doing it next year, lol.
