I don't disagree, but God of War was Kratos' story.

Its a similar argument to James Bond. Don't make a female Bond, just call it something else and if it's good enough on its own, it doesn't need to ride the pre-established brand that's already successful.

Ya, they could've dropped the GoW part of the title, I reckon. I get the feeling this is just a one-off to fill the time until the GoW 1-3 remakes come out.
 
Took a break from Forza Horizon and started playing Mixtape. Pretty cool, but it's more on the interactive movie kinda realm than an actual video game. But it's basically about these 3 teenage friends who wanna have one more fun night together before one of them moves away for college the next day. There's a mixture of memories and present day scenes that you play through, and each one is set to a particular song on a mixtape that they made. And it's set in the 90s so the soundtrack is full of 90s grunge, 80s new wave and 70s classic rock. Great soundtrack.

So "The f" was a weird one
Fun game. But the ONLY connection to SH was the flower seed/drug the cult used from SH2. And you really had to be a SH Stan to find that connection from 30 years ago.
May Fire up the 3 and replay Downpour

Funny enough, just as something to do with my kid (I don't like her watching me play the more violent games since she's six), I booted up and started playing Breath of the Wild again on the Switch.

That shit is harder and more fun than I remember!

My daughter loved watching that game, but so far her favorite thing she's seen me play was Skyrim. She still talks about it to this day and that was probably only twice over a year ago.

That game is great. I stole my son's switch and was playing it over the winter for the first time.
