Triple M Junkie Idol Game thread

I don't think conors is a character. He's really a shit person.
Conor and Bisping were more real and weren’t playing a character. What you get is what you see with them(even if it rubs you the wrong way). They just did a good job at talking smack and the mind games. Chael could do both while in character. I do blame Conor for Colby. He tried to be like him to get noticed. I don’t know wtf Hokits trying to be. Hulk Hogan? Rain man? Idk.

Ping is the OG heel for me, he did it first. Seems like he was indirectly handed that role, he grabbed ahold of it, and made it his own. Never resisted the costume given to him, ran that shit all the way to the title, and then to the commenting desk.

I used to hate Chael, I was Andrea’s a big fan of Anderson before he came to the ufc so I probably hated him cuz of that, but that all changed when he was coach on TUF against Jones. Still to this day he’s the best coach in TUF history imo. He showed a different human side that I never saw, but he was there for his team constantly, said his words of wisdom at crucial times and his team killed it on that season cuz of him. Hes the man. I’ve been a fan ever since, he’s also one of the funniest. Him, Rampage and Bisping for me.

agree. the difference between Chael and Colby is the human element AND ad-lib skill. Chael may have had a few pre-loaded one-liners but once the questions came in and the argumentative conversations began he had the ability to freestyle with it. For Colby, too many times he had the opportunity to freestyle and he couldn't, so he pivoted right back to the original talking point in an attempt to reload and try again. He was never able to pull it off in real time, from a reactionary position, therefore it ended up cringe.

there's a lot of self promotion that could have come out of that Steakhouse with Whorehay but he chose the quiet legal route. The serious side of his ego wouldn't allow him to make fun of himself. Fans like to be entertained with real world circumstances, not procedural legal maneuvers and short videos of the other guy in handcuffs.

Wait until they find out those cars are virtual and the lawsuits start piling

False, when he crashes and gets violently ktfo, then gets cut, I’m hitting the town to celebrate. No more seeing that cringy shite. This ain’t WWE son, this is real and he’s turning it into a circus. Fuck him and his stick

Guys doin it like Hokit and Colby.
Come off so cringe because
they are both actually decent guys
Who can only play these schticks
In an over the top manner.
Cuz that's the only way they can not be self conscious about how it's coming off to the crowd while they're doing it.

Why do you think Colbys a decent guy? If this stick is to attack dead parents, attack peoples heritages, talk about fighters kids and question them as fathers, talk a bunch of shit to fighters but report them to the police the second they do something to you, and press charges, then that’s not a decent guy. He’s a fighter but a fucking narc/rat. He’s in dickhead mode constantly. Nah, not for me.

Hokit on the other hand is probably not as bad but this stick is just not good, it’s cringe, unfunny, uncool. If he was funny with it I would be like well at least this is funny, but he’s not, he tried to be and writers, crowd, UFC staff just wince with silence. It’s fucking embarrassing

Maybe I should have said he probably started out a decent guy ? Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan.
