Izzy took Alex down, his only successful UFC TD at a rate of 9% success. Alex has been taken down 10 times in 13 fights.

While he stopped Anks it wasn't like Ank had to invest in completing them, the threat was doing enough to break Alexs flow anyway.

I'd say he's average, not sure where you see super hard to take down

In recent fights. Certainly not from 4 years ago I would put Ank as having very strong wrestling, he’s taken every LHW down he’s ever fought. Guess what? 12 attempts against Alex in their first fight, zero completions. Ank had to strike and beat him in striking. If they fought 4 year ago it would’ve been the same with Ank taking down yet another LHW. Second fight he got murked. Alex has evened out his tdd, that’s why his tdd success rates in the 80s. Sure he hasent fought anyone of Hokits level of wrestling but my money is on Alex fucking him up.
