Nah, Gall was a legit 3-0 fighter and was submitted everyone early at the time, so he belonged. I agree there are better examples out there, but I don't think that one would have gotten torched too badly, as CM Punk fighting in the UFC in his MMA debut was an absolute joke, so he definitely did not belong.

That signing worked out well in the long run, we haven't seen any ridiculous crossovers since.
